The Trailer: Resistance 3

You are the Resistance.

The war against the Chimera has raged on long enough, interwoven through wars of our own, and now (and by now I mean then) it has made its way to the major cities of the United States. One of the last hopes for survival lies in you getting to New York City, to find a way to rid the Earth of the bloody Chimera forever. For hope. For your family. For fun. That’s right, taking care of those Chimera is meant to be fun, since you are actually playing a pretty good first person shooter for the PS3, and not taking on an alien invasion. Insomniac brings the next piece of the Resistance trilogy to us this fall, and with it a story of one man doing what he can to save his family.

New York City gets another video game incarnation this year, and the fate of the world rests on the shoulders of the destruction of a tower there. Personally, I plan on going back and playing through all of the Resistance games for the FPS experience and the crazy weapons that only Insomniac knows how to make. Also, if you can hold off for a little while (depending on when it gets released) you can pick up the new PlayStation 3D TV which comes with Resistance 3. Otherwise, pick up the game September 6. Did I mention there’s Move support?
