The Trailer: Battlefield 3 (Operation Guillotine)

Operation Guillotine is a go.

This fall sees two major first person shooter threequels go head-to-head, Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3. We’ve seen quite a bit from MW3 over the past few months, and even more so recently from the Call of Duty XP event, but Battlefield 3 has been silently waiting in the background. In the brief trailer featured below, we get a look at Operation Guillotine, led by U.S. Marine Sgt. Blackburn, as they head into the city of Tehran. Featuring in-game footage, this trailer makes the game look gorgeous and frantic, and will definitely give MW3 a run for its money. Check out the stabbing, running, mortars, darkness, gun fire, and everything else you can spot in this trailer for Battlefield 3.

EA and DICE are bringing quite the experience to consoles and PCs this fall. Continue Operation Guillotine when you pick up Battlefield 3 on October 25, two weeks ahead of Modern Warfare 3.
