Did EA accidentally confirm Dead Space 3?Unless you follow Israeli news for your video game updates, you probably aren’t aware of what happened on a recent episode when one such news show, “The Headlines”, visited EA’s Redwood Shores office in California. During one of the shots from the episode you can catch a glimpse of some concept art and a banner for Dead Space 3.
So, does this mean that EA has put the threequel into development? [IGN] asked EA about it and they gave a dodgy response to the effect of: “we’ve got nothing to tell you right now.” Many people were confused by EA’s closure of the Australian branch of Visceral Games, thinking that it marked the end of the series, but that was just one part of the studio. If this is not a hoax (and honestly, we would expect a quality series like Dead Space to continue) then it looks like EA will continue to give us thrills and chills once more.
