There may be a better spot to sit at the bar aside from the view with the most TVs.
It would seem the ideal spot to sit would be at the elbow in the bar closest to the entrance. You have the highest traffic flow since people naturally skew towards the entrances of a room when sitting (see: a classroom). You also have the luxury of being able to have a conversation with more than one other person and be able to see them with some ease– that is, easier than all of you sitting in a straight line.
Don’t worry, you’ll still get served.
