Well, the man was correct. Whether you have a business, work for a business, or simply have any desire to network, it it crucial that you have some sort of business card. However basic, it’s going to come off mature (more mature than “Google me”) and make you incredibly relevant to other folks.
You can print your own, go to a professional, or use a site like Vistaprint to get a 500 for the cost of shipping.
Name, a non-school email address, and your About.Me profile would be sufficient if you’re not all corporate yet, and throw on a title and company website if you are.
