AMC announces a third season for The Walking Dead.
The third episode of the second season of The Walking Dead hasn’t even aired yet and AMC has already announced a third season for the zombie series. I suppose it’s no surprise given the strong ratings over the past two weeks, giving the series the title of best drama series on cable (by the numbers), or the triumph it had last year during it’s six episode first season. The real question is, at the rate the current season is going, will the survivors even last all thirteen episodes this season?
Also, word on the street is that the Zombieland team is going ahead with their zombie TV show, which could provide some competition for AMC, though it will probably be less serious.
“Save the Last One”, the third episode of the second season of The Walking Dead airs this Sunday at 9 pm eastern on AMC.
