This is why I never go on vacation.
Between last year’s Dead Island and the forthcoming Far Cry 3, it’s a wonder people still want to go on vacation. Why? Well in the first title there were zombies running around an island resort. That’s a no brainer if you ask me (ha, zombie humor). Far Cry 3 is a little bit more on the human side of things when it comes to ruining a vacation. While on a cruise, a few people stop on an island. Unfortunately for them, this island is inhabited by a bunch of people who have forgotten right and wrong, and have become disciples of piracy, violence, and pretty much anything else considered dangerous. As usual in these situations, shit goes sideways and you’re left trying to survive on this chain of islands, running from their inhabitants. And you must survive.
The previous Far Cry games have peaked the interest of many a FPS gamer (in fact, Far Cry 2 is available on the PSN for Plus users for free this month), and this cinematic trailer definitely makes me feel like this game will make for quite an experience. There’s no release date set for this third entry, but we’ll keep you posted.
And be careful of where you vacation.
