Lincoln’s blood-soaked past comes to light.
Vampires drink blood. Presidents command war. When it comes to dealing with vampires, your hands are bound to get a little bloody. When it comes to being the President of the United States, the same is quite possible. But when you’re both a President and a vampire hunter, things are bound to get a whole lot bloodier. That’s probably why the latest trailer for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is red band, all the blood. We do get to see some new scenes, a look at Anthony Mackie as William Johnson backing up the President in his fight against the night walking bloodsuckers that aim to tear the country apart. And you thought the Civil War was about slavery. Ha.
It won’t be long now before we’ll see a vampire movie that doesn’t star any sparkles or werewolves. Just a President, his axe/gun, and a bloodbath. Plain and simple. Abraham Lincoln slays vampires on June 22.
