Abraham Lincoln’s other job, Falling Skies, Pokémon Conquest, and more.

This Friday, if you’re looking to avoid the summer heat you’ve got a few decent choices that could get you into a cool seat at the movie theater. First up is Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter which shows off the secret history of our top-hatted President, second is Pixar’s Brave, and third is Seeking a Friend for the End of the World. Meanwhile, on those smaller screens in your living rooms (or bed rooms) you’ll be able to catch the premiere of the second season of Falling Skies on TNT tonight. If you’ve been lacking in either Pokémon or LEGOs, this week you’ll be able to get your thumbs on Pokémon Conquest for DS and LEGO Batman 2 for just about anything. And, on DVD and Blu-ray this week you can grab Jeff Who Lives at Home, Project X, and Project X. Make sure you pick the right one. I think they released the 1968 version (which is not even a similar movie) at the same time because they’re hoping people buy it by mistake.
