Well, for now anyway.
If you were worried about your childhood memories of your favorite amphibious ninjas of justice and pizza being ruined with excessive amounts of Bayhem you’re in a bit of luck. Paramount recently announced that pre-production on Michael Bay’s (Teenage Mutant) Ninja Turtles has been shut down, pushing the release date back from December 2013 to May 2014 (which is only a five month difference). Word around Hollywood is that the script isn’t up to par, which might be music to TMNT fans’ ears. Who knows, maybe they’ll scrap the whole alien angle and through the “Teenage Mutant” part back into the title. For now we’ll just have to be hopeful that this delay is for the better.
Paramount also recently announced the delay of G.I. Joe: Retaliation and World War Z. What are they going to do to fill in the gaps for these big films?
