Would you wear these in a box? With a fox?
What is up Internet? It’s Fashion Friday, and today’s featured items combine a few of your favorite things. The first being Dr. Seuss. Don’t deny it, you read those books when you were a kid and loved them, and you probably still remember some of the rhymes. The second is geek pop culture, namely Sonic the Hedgehog, Back to the Future, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The following shirts, designed by joshmirm, popped up around different t-shirt of the day websites, but you can get them now. Sure, they aren’t as cheap as they were then, but come on, they’re still awesome and worth the price, so check them out and decide for yourself.
The Hog In Clogs
Sonic the Hedgehog definitely could be a character in a Dr. Seuss book. First off, he’s a hedgehog that can talk, second, he wears an odd piece of clothing for such an animal to wear, clogs (though I don’t think they exactly resemble clogs, but for the sake of the rhyme it works). I’m sure Dr. Robotnik’s version of the tale of The Hog In Clogs would be one that turned him into quite a mischievous hedgehog, always ruining things and never cleaning up. Definitely sounds like The Cat In The Hat.

Leo The Leader
A story of four turtles doused with ooze, mutated into ninja warriors that fight evil and eat pizza. Ridiculous? Check. Crazy enough to work as a Dr. Seuss rhyme? Check. Well, only if you can rhyme Donatello, Michelangelo, Leonardo, and Raphael with other words. Check. The writers on this book actually turn out to be the creators of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, so they would probably come up with the best and accurate story, better than Robotnik’s portrayal of Sonic anyway.

Oh, The Eras You’ll Go!
“The appropriate question is ‘when the hell are they?’” Even though this time machine has wheels, it doesn’t do a lot of traveling outside of Hill Valley, but it certainly goes far, time traveling a century into the past and thirty years into the future. Oh, the eras you’ll go indeed. Doc Brown would have one hell of a story to tell to his kids about the boy who traveled through time and save Hill Valley from the Tannens, again and again…and again.
