The Trailer: Deadpool

Suck it, Wolverine.

Marvel has their hands full at the moment, with a plate stacked to the heavens with five new movies over the next three years, and that doesn’t even include the new Wolverine film. Still, those are just movies, and Marvel is all about covering all their bases, including video games. But with Wolverine and the Avengers tied up in the films, who’s left to engage gamers? Why not the most devious superhero/assassin of them all? Deadpool has made his brief video game appearances before, but now he’s getting his own title, all to himself. A hack and slash, button mash, brawl of guns, swords, and sound effects. If that hasn’t enticed you enough, check out the Comic Con announcement trailer for Deadpool’s video game.

Oh Nolan North, is there no one you can’t voice? North is back voicing the Merc with a Mouth when Deadpool hits…well I’ll assume it will hit consoles sometime…okay we don’t know anything more than what you just saw above. The genre? Platforming, action adventure? “But there was a first person scene on their with a mini-gun.” I don’t know what to tell you, but like Deadpool said, he’ll keep in touch, and so will we.
