Choose wisely.

Monday Warriors! What’s going on? The summer heat rages on, and now’s the time to staying cool, and what better company is there to stay cool with than friends? But you can’t just pick anyone, you’ve got to choose your friends wisely if you want to get the most out of this crazy little race we call life. Mark Twain’s got some advice on that.

“Keep away from those who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you believe that you too can become great.”

Real friends encourage you, they have your back, and they are willing to tell you the truth when you need a good slap of reality. The people who do this are great people, and they make great friends. Surround yourself with great people and you too will be great. Great by association.

It’s as simple as that. Stay away from the negative nancys out there and find good friends to rock out with. And you may not like him, but you’ve got to admit he can sing an inspiring song about being great. Here’s R. Kelly with “World’s Greatest”, because that’s what you should aim to be, along with your friends as your greatest support team.
