Welcome To The Fall

Gamers can only rise so high before the Fall.

Autumn is a wonderful time. Leaves are changing colors, the air is getting crisper, and you can find pumpkin flavored anything everywhere. On top of that, the holiday season is rapidly approaching, and for gamers this means a blockbuster packed season from September through December. Big name titles get released this time of year, and while it’s something to look forward to, it’s not always what you want it to be. Okay, maybe that’s not the case for most gamers, but for those who want to play it all and be current on the gaming front, the Fall is a tough time. Here, this comic will explain it a little better.

Every year we get excited for the AAA releases heading our way, and then we get bogged down in four releases in a month with no time to breathe before the next month drops another four and a new gaming console. It’s an uphill battle, or so it appears to be. But then you step back and find that a good chunk of the games getting released are nothing incredibly new, and usually have some number tacked onto them. Two, three, maybe even four. Regardless of the stack of games that will begin to mount on my shelf, untouched and sealed as I make my way through each one with care, I still love this time of year (though my wallet doesn’t).
